Marketing Best Practices

Flyers, Brochures & Handouts

Flyers and brochures are powerful tools that can communicate key information in a clear, visual way, making them perfect for reaching busy parents and school staff. Let’s explore the best use cases and audiences for each one!

Flyers

Flyers fit on standard letter-size paper (8.5” x 11”), which makes them ideal for fast, cheap printing via an office printer or a professional print shop like Office Depot.

Flyers are perfect for letting our current parents know that enrollment is open, and they can also catch the eye of prospective parents – increasing our brand awareness AND enrollments!

Flyer Templates

For each new upcoming program (Right Club, Discovery Clubs, Break Camps, and Summer Camp), the marketing team will create flyers and flyer templates. The marketing team will communicate if you are expected to create a flyer for your programs, or if a flyer will be made for you.

Unique Flyers

There may be a need for you to have a custom flyer created for a program, event, or other need. If this is the case, get in touch with the marketing team! They can help you make something up so you don’t have to spend your time fiddling with Canva.

How to Use Flyers

Brochures

Brochures offer a more in-depth look at RAS programs than flyers or posters can offer. These brochures are a great way to inform families about the content of our programs and the benefits to kids and parents. They can help increase leads (potential new RAS parents), and contain information that remains relevant longer than flyers or posters.

Brochures are ideal for new families just hearing about RAS for the first time, making them great to give away at events or leave behind at coffee shops or community centers.

Postcards

Postcards are a smaller, more eye-catching piece of marketing material that serve a similar purpose to flyers, but may help you save on space if you’re placing these on a table.
