Highlighting Our Curriculum!

TOY LAB expo marketing

Making the Most out of our Toy Lab Curriculum Unit!

We know from experience that the week before winter break and the first week back can sometimes be a bit challenging.  So, this year, we created a unit (for both Right Club and Right Club Jr.) where students make toys.

At the end of the unit, we can engage families and the school community by inviting them to see and play with the toys with the children. Even if families aren’t allowed inside our programs, there are still creative ways we can engage them to show off our students’ creations!

Planning the Toy Lab Expo

  • Invite Flyers: If you haven’t already, work with your school administrators to set a date, time, and location for your Expo. Then update this Save the Date flyer template and get these out to families in early December.
  • Signage: Order signage ahead of time so you’ll be able to guide families to the event with yard signs and decorate your event space with a banner.
  • Communications templates: Use these to get the word out about the Toy Expo to families via LineLeader, school/district partners, and teachers/staff in your school community.

Fill out our curriculum newsletter with the invite template in Week One, and the collage with plenty of photos after the Toy Lab Expo is done!
Use this banner to decorate your space on Toy Lab Expo day! Available in 4x2 feet and 6x3 feet and comes with grommets to fit your needs.
Put these signs out on the day of your Toy Lab Expo!
