Before & After School

Right Club Marketing Strategy Guide

The new school year is here! Here’s how to keep families in the know and stay on top of driving enrollments in your district.

Overview

In our marketing, we highlight that our Before and After School programs as an affordable, flexible, and safe program where kids can go before and after school to learn, play, and grow!

We lean into this with details on key components of our programs, including:

  • Action-packed afternoons that have the perfect blend of playtime, arts and crafts, and hundreds of all-new Disguised Learning activities
  • Homework support where kids can get their homework done, so there’s more time at home for family fun!
  • Our curriculum is designed by a team of education experts and designed to flex your kid’s brain and help them develop critical social-emotional skills.
  • Flexibility to select from 1-5 days of care per week and drop off and pick up when it works for family’s schedules.

We also emphasize that we have several discounts available and that we accept childcare subsidy in certain states.

Marketing before and after school

School is out, but marketing is still in session! Cross-promote fall enrollment to families that are currently enrolled in summer camp by sending a flyer home with each camper. Do this several weeks throughout the summer, as we know kids come and go during the summer depending on their families’ schedule.

No summer camp? No problem! Utilize the approved Line Leader communications templates to remind families that registration is open.

Events

Making the most of School or Community Event

Summer is a great time to get out and about in your community to spread the word about RAS!

Some schools have open houses, kindergarten meet and greets, or other summer gatherings. Check with your principals at the beginning of summer to make sure you have these events on your schedule. Come prepared to introduce new families to RAS with plenty of marketing materials and swag!

Hosting Your Own Event

Summer is a great time to bring both current and prospective RAS families together! Consider hosting an open house at a time that’s convenient for parents (after 5pm or on the weekends.) Set up curriculum activities, prepare games that are a fan favorite with your kiddos, and work with the marketing team to coordinate food or ice cream. Our Events best practics page has everything you need to host a successful Open House.

Canvassing

Take an afternoon and canvas your communities: leave stacks of flyers at coffee shops, gyms, libraries, etc. Bring posters to hang up on community bulletin boards.

Working With Principals, Partners, & PTAs

Check in with your school contacts to request they share information out with each school’s families. Some schools may send more infrequent communications during the summer, so work with them to develop a plan that will work for their communications calendar and our enrollment schedule.

Right Club Flyers, Brochures, and Handouts

There’s a lot of information to get out to families before the start of the school year. Explore the different handouts that are available, and customize/order the ones that will fit your community’s needs the best.
